God's Love

"Who shall separate us from the LOVE of CHRIST? Shall trouble, or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the LOVE of GOD that is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD."
-Romans 8: 35, 37-39 (NIV)God's love for us is just so great (: it isn't just some romance that can come out of any fiction novel. this love is just so brilliant and amazing, and its completely tangible, and unlike anything we can ever fathom. its ever present, its ever sustaining, its comforting, its understanding, its caring, its basically everything you could ever ask for (:
so what does one do when one receives such intense love from another? obviously return the love! and as much as we try to do so to God, we can never ever match the love he's given to us. and yet, we all still continually sin against God, forgetting how much our actions may hurt him as a result of what we have done. i guess when we think about it, its really strange that we willingly proceed to hurt God, even though we know what we are doing is wrong. how can we bear to knowingly hurt God in view of the undying love He has poured out for us?
however, as the verses above say, nothing can stop the Lord's love from getting to us. in the midst of all the troubles, pains, getting lost, and sin we are buried under, His love is able to penetrate through every layer and touch us with His love. there's really no escaping His love, but then again, who would wanna escape it? :P God really really loves us, yay whee! and that itself is an understatement XD it really transcends all (:

-1 Corinthians 4-7 (NIV)indeed, God's love is as such. even when we sin against Him, we can repent from our ways and He will erase all records of our sin (: He always trusts and hopes that we as His children will change from our evil ways, and perseveres to see us turn to Him and away from our sins. honestly, God rocks! no matter how severe, unfathomable, bizarro or out of the world a sin we may have committed, God's always there to shower His love upon us and forgive us (:
